FOOD & BEVERAGE INDUSTRY

 

In keeping with WDA's and NEA's vision of higher hygiene standards when handling food, it is compulsory for all food handler to attend and certified competent with the WSQ Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures course in order for them to handle Food & Beverage in Singapore. This course will introduce the concept of micro-organism, personal hygiene, maintenance of food preparation equipment and areas, how to prepare food safely, handle food safely and store food safely.

Course Outline

SERVICE LITERACY TEST - CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISHTUTORIAL COURSE

The Service Literacy Test (SLT) is developed for Work Permit Holders in the Retail, Hotel and Food & Beverage sectors, where the ability to communicate in English is essential for delivering good and effective service.

 

From 1 July 2010, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) mandates that Work Permit Holders in these sectors will have to pass the Service Literacy Test in order to qualify for skilled levy status, in addition to the current skilled status requirements.

 

Skillmaster conducts a min. 36 hours tutorial course for candidate wishing to undertake on the Service Literacy Test (Spoken and Listening). This tutorial course can only commence with a minimum intake of 10 candidates.

About Our training centre

Skillmaster Training Centre Pte Ltd was founded on January 2003. With 8 years experiences in the training industry, we've grown from a small humble training centre to a reputable Approved Training Organisation.


Our focus is creating value beneficial to both the client's company and their workers when delivering any form of service(s). All workers attending the course(s) would be trained in accordance to national standards in the WSQ systems set by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).

We continuously upgraded our facilities and courses so as to provide superior and conducive learning materials and environment to our trainees, thereby providing better services levels to our customers. Currently, we have our own training premises with internal and external trainers conducting trainings in our facilities, as well as on-sites training.
